Are you passionate about fire safety and housing compliance?
Join our Fire Safety Team as a Fire Door Inspector and play a vital role in ensuring the safety of residents across Hackney's housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of communal doors (11-18m) and flat entrance doors across council-managed blocks.
• Support the delivery of quarterly inspections for over 3,800 communal doors and annual inspections for over 14,000 flat entrance doors.
• Carry out fire safety remediation post-inspections, smoke alarm testing, and installation of fire safety signage.
• Tag assets as part of our transition to the Shine Compliance Software.
• Liaise with tenants and contractors to promote fire safety awareness and ensure compliance with the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience supporting fire risk assessments and compliance reporting.
• Practical knowledge of fire safety legislation, housing standards, and property inspection processes.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to tenant engagement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
