Fostering Recruitment Team Manager

Rate: Up to 45.00 per hour

Hackney Council is seeking a passionate and experienced Team Manager to lead our Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Team a crucial service focused on identifying, assessing, and approving foster and kinship carers.

You'll manage a skilled team of assessing social workers and a recruitment and retention manager, ensuring a smooth, high-quality journey for prospective carers from enquiry to approval.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the fostering assessment team
  • Oversee recruitment campaigns and enquiry management
  • Ensure timely completion of Form F and Form K assessments
  • Maintain quality assurance and prepare panel reports
  • Support service development and policy implementation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies

About You:

  • Qualified and registered social worker with fostering experience
  • Strong knowledge of fostering regulations and safeguarding
  • Confident leader with strategic and operational oversight skills
  • Committed to achieving the best outcomes for children and carers
