Children’s Services

In our last Ofsted inspection in July 2024, we were rated Good. Inspectors found:
- Effective partnership working and interventions;
- Timely and well-recorded visits;
- A good understanding of the impacts of trauma and a strong focus on identity, culture, and ethnicity and what this means for families;
- Strengthened quality assurance processes and leadership oversight.
Our Anti-Racist Practice Standards and support for staff to develop their active anti-racist practice is something we are very proud of. Our 2022 Anti-Racist Practice Conference has been nationally awarded by the Children and Young People Now Awards. In the 2023 HMIP inspection of our Youth Justice service, we were applauded for our ‘powerful anti-racist stance’ and were awarded an overall rating of ‘Good’.
Adult Services
